Something About That Light

I spotted this 1956 Ford at a local cruise night in late summer. There was just something about the way the summer light was striking the hood, bringing out the curves, color, and chrome. I knew I wanted to paint it.

This original painting holds onto that simple moment when the light made a familiar classic impossible to pass by.
